CANADA COUNCIL ANNOUNCES ARTS MANAGEMENT AWARDS DEADLINE
OTTAWA -- The Canada Council for the Arts has announced the 2009 competition for the John Hobday Awards in Arts Management, with a deadline of September 30.
Two $10,000 awards are presented each year and allow recipients to enhance their own professional development by taking part in a recognized program, seminar, or workshop, or be mentored by an arts administrator outside their own organization.
The competition is open to both established and mid-career arts managers.
The John Hobday Awards in Arts Management were created through a $1 million donation from The Samuel and Saidye Bronfman Family Foundation. For more information, visit the Canada Council’s website.
