Jai Djwa is a creative technologist and interactive strategist. He has many years of experience in interactive design, digital media, film and TV for
First Nations, progressive non-profits, and social ventures. He is principal of Agentic Communications. Jai is also an instructor for Capilano University’s IDEA School of Design and for the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business. Prior to his work at Agentic, Jai was a composer for theatre and dance and a musician for many years. He volunteers with several organizations including the Vancouver Fringe, MOSAIC, and the City of Vancouver Arts and Culture Policy Council.

A member of Council since 2018, his current appointment was made on July 31, 2021 for three year term.
