Arts and culture community members from the Peace Region are invited to attend a one-day Lunch & Learn session with the BC Arts Council and Canadian Heritage.

The agenda for the day is as follows:

10:00 am – noon
Support for Arts and Culture / from the funders

Join us for an information session and grant writing workshop led by staff from the BC Arts Council and the Department of Canadian Heritage. Explore the various arts and culture funding opportunities offered by provincial and federal agencies, while learning the ins-and-outs of grant writing.

Lunch – Vegetarian Chili and Bannock
Enjoy a complimentary lunch and informal conversation.

1:00 pm  – 3:30 pm
Arts and Culture in the Northeast / from the community

Have your say! Artists and cultural organizations from the region have a chance—in a series of short presentations—to tell the funders about what makes arts and culture in this region tick.

To RSVP for the grant writing workshop or to offer a presentation for the afternoon, please email bcartscouncil@gov.bc.ca. You can attend for one or both sessions.  Make sure you include “Arts Funding & Your Community” in the subject heading.

We are particularly keen to hear diverse perspectives on these issues.
