Intake extended to December 1 for the new Accelerate program

The intake for the new BC Arts Council Accelerate Program will be extended until December 1, 2022. The program is intended to increase access
and remove barriers for equity-deserving and regional arts and cultural organizations and collectives.

The two-year pilot program offers multi-year, flexible funding of up to $30,000 to eligible equity-deserving or regional arts and culture organizations and collectives for expenses related to artistic growth, development, production or exhibition as well as for costs related to organizational capacity building, expansion and operations.

Accelerate opened for intake on September 22, 2022 and will now accept applications until December 1, 2022.

The Accelerate program builds on the priorities of Extending Foundations: Action Plan 2022-2024 to improve access, reduce barriers and
provide flexible support for capacity building.
